India Launches Advanced Meteorological Satellite into Orbit
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched its newest meteorological satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit today. The satellite, equipped with state-of-the-art imaging payloads, is designed to significantly improve storm tracking, weather forecasting, and ocean observation capabilities.
Scientists at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre confirmed that the spacecraft separated successfully and entered its designated orbit. It will undergo a series of maneuvers over the next week to reach its final geostationary position.

Outstanding milestone for ISRO! Hope this enables precise local forecasts during heavy downpours.
When will we start receiving the first batch of visual scans from the transponder?
